Using playful and satirical imagery of societal archetypes, Aisha's narrative works consider societal attitudes and emotional

states,grounded in real human encounters and experiences. These works are part of an ongoing series titled Acts of Mischief. Acts of mischief become means of challenging norms and authority structures, offering a light but pointed form of social resistance against the conventional norms shaped by capitalism. Engaging in mischievous gestures with a skeptical wit, the characters unsettle expectation and disrupt hierarchy to reveal alternative ways of seeing and being in the world, revealing human behaviour in all its absurdity, tenderness, and complexity.
