The Carved Body

 

‘The Carved Body’ is the next exhibition by the exciting young-artist-led gallery, SANKI. The show runs from January 10th to February 22nd, with the opening preview January 9th 6-8pm.

 

Carving out spaces for their own belonging, changing the stories of their bodies, and redefining the structures around them; this new selection of artists at SANKI discuss the body in metamorphosis. Through rebelling identities and traditional symbolism, pain and perception intertwine. They bring out rhythms of nature and heritage in a variety of mediums across Photography, Sculpture, and Painting.
